Starting my career at BW as a Norwegian Shipowners Association Cadet in 2013, I am glad I have completed my sailing career as a Third Engineer onboard before taking on a shore-based role in BW Shipping Philippines Inc. in Manila. The support from my colleagues was invaluable in easing my sea to shore transition. As part of the crew management team, my experience as a former seafarer helps me to understand crew needs and motivates me to be even better at my job. I am very proud to be a part of BW, and the opportunities it has given me in terms of personal and professional development. As a woman in maritime, BW has empowered me to pursue my career ambitions with its inclusive culture and strong core values. It’s so fulfilling to be surrounded by colleagues who motivate each other to be their best!

Since joining BW Group as a Treasury Executive in 2022, my career journey has been nothing short of exhilarating. As part of the team managing the treasury portfolio for our BW LNG ships and FSRUs, we are responsible for the optimal management of our cash position and deployment of surplus funds. From brainstorming innovative solutions to analysing complex financial projections, every day presents new opportunities for collaborative learning and personal development. I appreciate how we openly share insights and celebrate project successes during team meetings, making every achievement feel like a collective win. The camaraderie and supportive culture make a career with BW especially rewarding!

Since joining BW in 2016, it's been a fulfilling journey growing with an organisation that empowers its people. As a Crew Manager, I oversee crew recruitment and administration, managing schedules, procedures, and ensure compliance with regulations. It is rewarding to see our seafarers settling well in our ‘Happy Ships’, bonding together over cultural events and birthday celebrations. It's an honour to be part of an organisation that values diversity and fosters a strong sense of belonging in a positive workplace environment.

I'm proud to have been among the first few Nigerians in BW Group’s Cadet Program. As a leader in the Gas transportation sector, BW’s strong safety culture, commitment to excellence, and growth opportunities have made my career a rewarding one. Starting as an Engine Cadet in 2006, I’m now a Chief Engineer overseeing the engine room staff, and technical operations and maintenance onboard. I love the adventure of working at sea and being part of a diverse team that values teamwork, respect, and professionalism. I am honoured to be part of a company making a difference with sustainable energy solutions and its commitment to social responsibility.

Working in BW means being part of a collaborative team, where dedication and going the extra mile are the norm in our work culture. Moving from an offshore role to a shore-based role, I started out as a Junior Technical Superintendent at BW LNG in January 2019 and was promoted to Fleet Manager in September 2025.

In my first year at BW LNG, I was given the opportunity to plan and execute my first drydocking. With great teamwork, we delivered on-time on-budget successfully despite the challenges. This was a good example how BW trusts and empowers their employees to lead. The opportunity laid the cornerstones for my role as a Technical Superintendent for our FSRU fleet. As the first point of contact for technical matters, no two days at work are the same – I thrive on troubleshooting issues, and ensuring maintenance standards are aligned with BW’s standards.

In my new role as a Fleet Manager, I oversee the operational and technical performance of our LNGC fleet, leading a skilled team of technical superintendents to ensure our vessels operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. This new dynamic role requires me to think strategically, adapt quickly, and keep up with evolving challenges. I’m grateful for our collaborative culture and look forward to driving continuous improvement together.

The fast pace and dynamic nature of fleet management means keeping a pulse on the clock and being open to new ways of doing things, as the solutions for today may not be applicable for tomorrow. I am thankful for our robust technical discussions, efficient decision-making process, and speed in getting things done!

Starting my career at BW LNG as a Gas Solutions Commercial Analyst has been both exciting and deeply rewarding. The fast-paced evolving nature of the business means no two days are the same, from researching market fundamentals to understanding the different macro economic landscapes across countries and regions.

I thrive on this constant learning and problem-solving. I am delighted to be at the forefront of the energy landscape, as the Regional Head of Gas Solutions for Americas at BW LNG. Based in Rio de Janeiro, we provide hands-on support for our FSRU projects in the region – BW Magna in Brazil and BW Tatiana in El Salvador – and thrive on fostering strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure seamless operations. Beyond existing projects, I'm excited about new opportunities and emerging projects in the Americas where our innovative gas solutions can make a significant impact. It's a dynamic role that allows me to blend strategic thinking with on-the-ground engagement, towards solidifying BW LNG as a leading provider of gas solutions in the Americas.

I've always had a keen interest in the energy and infrastructure industry, and had the opportunity to start my career in BW as a Management Associate in 2017. The two-year programme comprised intensive rotations across 11 different departments in Singapore and Oslo. Beyond building a comprehensive understanding of the business, this fostered strong relationships with colleagues across the world.

Today, I am based in Singapore's Corporate Finance team, where we work closely with banking partners and financial institutions to deliver competitive financing solutions for our vessels and projects. There is always a strong sense of satisfaction seeing each project take off, delivering essential energy around the world, while finding cleaner energy solutions for tomorrow. I enjoy the work culture here at BW. We take pride in what we do, with respect and care for one another. Together, we are a collaborative team that strives for the best, not forgetting to have fun in the process!

As the Head of Group Crewing Services, I oversee crewing needs for the Group’s various business affiliates and our office operations in India and the Philippines. While the nature of our work can be challenging at times, I’m glad we overcome them with teamwork, collaboration and trust!

Working in BW means never having a dull moment! I’ve been with the company for over five years now and enjoy the new challenges every day brings. At Internal Audit, we provide independent assessments to BW Group and our affiliates to improve operational control, risk management and governance processes. I enjoy working with colleagues from different departments across the group, many of whom have become firm friends. I also enjoy travelling to our offices around the world to understand our business operations better. BW has a warm collaborative workplace culture where everyone comes together to deliver results – our values unite us across cultures and geographies!

I am proud to start my career with BW as a Commercial Trainee after graduation, where we underwent a comprehensive 18-month programme. The exposure to the Group’s wide-ranging businesses helped me develop an overview of the industry, while broadening my horizons working alongside a global team. As part of the Commercial team, I am excited to feel the pulse of the market in developing new business opportunities for our fleet. I am glad to work with highly competent and collaborative colleagues in a great working environment – working hard and having fun at the same time is the key to our success!

I am proud to be part of BW, a company with values that align with mine, working with talented colleagues towards common goals. I joined in 2016 as a HR Generalist and was promoted to HR Manager about three years later. In my role, it is important to foster inclusive collaborations across all departments and I value the diversity from our employee engagement.

Employee well-being is at the centre of what we do and we work continually on creating a workplace where people are their best selves to drive business growth. We develop frameworks for competency training, organisational and leadership development, manage recruitment, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. The highlight of my career was to sail with an LNG vessel for a few days to experience life onboard. It was a great opportunity to meet our seafarers and understand their job responsibilities better – the first-hand insights are useful for recruiting Fleet Management positions!

I joined BW through the BW cadetship program in the Philippines. I’m grateful to work with a company that is deeply committed to the well-being and professional development of its employees. So far I am most proud of earning my position as a Navigator officer. But, speaking honestly, I consider it as just the start of my journey. I hope to achieve many other things, both as seafarer and as a woman in other roles I have in my life. I love setting goals and pursue them through hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm.

Working for BW gives me the chance to engage with a diverse group of people, who are passionate about what they do. There is not a typical employee, but there are consistent themes - BW employees live the values of the Group, with strong emphasis placed on working together to solve problems and treating all colleagues with respect. For me, working at BW means doing work that is rewarding and personally meaningful. I am surrounded by colleagues who help and challenge me: forcing me to think, grow and often laugh. Individually it is important that we do our best but at the end of the day we revel in team spirit and collective success. I consider myself lucky to work on one of the biggest challenges the world faces: decarbonisation. BW aims to create solutions to support the progress to a low carbon society.
