18 September 2026, BANGKOK – The BW LNG team concluded a busy four days at Gastech Exhibition & Conference in Bangkok, connecting with customers, partners and industry peers from across the global energy value chain. A key highlight was BW LNG’s joint keynote and cocktail reception with GTT, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and DNV, where the companies shared insights into the new three-tank LNG carrier design and the thinking behind its development.
With a capacity of 176,800 m³, the three-tank LNG carrier offers increased cargo capacity, lower passive boil-off rates and greater operational flexibility under partial loading conditions, enhancing energy efficiency while helping to lower unit freight costs.
