7 February 2024 – BW LNG hosted our fifth seafarer conference in Lagos from 31 January to 1 February 2024. The two-day conference saw a full house of Nigerian officers and seafarers. As part of the conference, the Long Service Award ceremony honoured officers with more than a decade or more of service.
Nigeria LNG Limited is BW LNG’s largest charterer, with a fleet of eight LNG vessels, each named after states and a river in Nigeria.
In Nigeria, BW also has a Crew Integration Programme to bridge cultural and language differences and develop positive relationships across people of different ranks.
