BW LNG Highlights Energy Innovation and Collaboration at Gastech 2024

BW LNG was pleased to participate in Gastech 2024, held from 17–20 September at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. As the world’s largest energy conference, Gastech provided an invaluable platform to engage with industry peers, partners, and clients on the future of global energy.

As part of BW Group, we joined our affiliates—BW LPG, BW Epic Kosan, BW Energy, BW Offshore, Hafnia, and Navigator Gas—to demonstrate how we are delivering energy for the world today while developing forward-looking solutions to support the transition to a low-carbon future. Together, we showcased our shared commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

Throughout the week, we were proud to present our progress in the ammonia value chain, including our efforts to ensure the safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation of ammonia as a clean energy carrier. Ammonia has the potential to play a pivotal role in the global energy transition, and we are actively contributing to its advancement through technological innovation and collaboration.

A key highlight of the conference was the panel discussion on “Advancing Energy Transitions through Resilient and Sustainable Supply Chains,” featuring Rick Ackermann, Head of Procurement at BW LPG. The discussion addressed the critical role of robust supply networks in enabling a successful and equitable transition across the energy sector.

We also had the pleasure of hosting a BW Drinks Reception, which brought together clients, partners, and colleagues for an evening of meaningful dialogue, idea exchange, and relationship building.
