On 25 June, BW LNG joins the global maritime community in celebrating the hashtag#DayoftheSeafarer, an annual day designated by the International Maritime Organization to honour our colleagues at sea. This year’s theme, “My Harassment-Free Ship”, highlights the importance of fostering a culture of respect and zero tolerance for bullying and harassment onboard.
At BW LNG, we recognise inclusion at sea is important for fostering a conducive work environment for all. In early 2025, we launched the ‘Respect and Belonging at Sea’ programme together with BW LPG. This three-year initiative will provide Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB) training to all seafarers and operational shore-based staff, making BW LNG and BW LPG among the first in the industry to implement such training fleetwide.
Today, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone onboard for making our vessels a safe positive place to work in, and a home away from home for all!
