BW is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr Jakob Bergholdt as Group CFO.
Mr Bergholdt has spent over 16 years in Asia, and has held key finance positions in well-respected shipping conglomerates. Mr Bergholdt holds a Bachelor’s degree from Copenhagen Business School, a diploma-degree (HD-R) in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School, and an MBA (Hons) from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
BW Group CEO Carsten Mortensen says: “Jakob is an outstanding leader in the maritime sector with a deep understanding of shipping finance. He is an excellent addition to the BW Group leadership team, and we will count on him to help chart BW’s next phase of growth. We warmly welcome Jakob to the team”.

Mr Bergholdt will assume his role on 2 January 2017.
