NAVIGATOR HOLDINGS LTD PUBLISHES ITS INAUGURAL CSR REPORT AND JOINS THE UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL COMPACT
Navigator Holdings Ltd. (“Navigator”) (NYSE: NVGS), issued its first CSR Report – a key milestone in the implementation of a new business strategy to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The report sets out some of the changes that have taken place in Navigator Gas, including the formation of a dedicated CSR Team and CSR Working Group. The business has chosen to focus on five of the 17 SDGs and sets out its activities and progress under each of those areas. The document also includes key emissions data for 2020.
While Navigator Gas strongly supports all 17 SDGs, they believe that they will be able to set an example to industry stakeholders by selecting the SDGs that we are able to contribute to most effectively. Therefore, it was put to our CSR Working Group, which is an interdisciplinary group of individuals from all parts of the business, to identify the SDGs that we can align our compass to. As a result of careful analysis, the following priority SDGs were selected:
SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being
SDG 4 Quality Education and Lifelong Learning Opportunities
SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production
SDG 14 Life Below Water
SDG 16 Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions

Concurrently, Navigator Gas has become a Participant of the United Nations Global Compact and the UN Global Compact Network UK – a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation, and disclosure of responsible business practices.
With this announcement, Navigator Gas is proud to join thousands of other companies globally and in the UK in an outward commitment towards the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.
