18 May 2024 – BW LNG is proud to commemorate the International Day for Women in Maritime annually on 18 May, celebrating women in shipping together with the International Maritime Organization.
In 2024, we are delighted to support the theme, “Safe Horizons: Women Shaping the Future of Maritime Safety,” aligned with our Zero Harm policy, and commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging.
In 2023, we marked a significant milestone by introducing our BW Fleet Management Maternity Leave Policy, which offers female seafarers with six months’ paid maternity leave and enhanced medical coverage. BW LNG extends our gratitude to our female seafarers for their dedication to our mission of delivering energy to the world. We are committed to fostering positive work environments from sea to shore, with a culture of respect and belonging, where employees are empowered to excel.
