Jared Sproule is the Vice President of Project Origination for BW Solar. He has over 13 years in the renewable energy industry and has experience in project development, business development, community engagement, and permitting of wind, solar, hydro and transmission in North America.
Prior to BW Solar, Jared worked as a Renewable Site Developer with TransAlta Corporation and Right of Way Planner with AltaLink Management Ltd. He has developed, planned and contributed to the construction of hundreds of megawatts of renewables projects and various transmission projects.
Jared most recently led Business Development and Community Relations at BluEarth Renewables. His focus was on establishing Community and Indigenous Partnerships and the project development and permitting of wind, solar, hydro and storage projects across Canada and the United States. Jared has experience leading various procurement responses, negotiating power purchase agreements and providing project proposals for various commercial and industrial clients.
Jared holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Calgary.
