Michael Malguarnera is the Director of Market Analytics at BW Solar. He has over 10 years of experience in electric power utilities and has worked across multiple sectors, including investor-owned utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, developers, and independent power producers. He has an extensive background in engineering for generation, power cost modelling, and power markets.
Most recently, he was a Manager of Portfolio Strategy at ACES, helping clients with long term resource planning. Previously, he was a Senior Transmission Analyst at ACES working with FTRs/TCRs, an Indiana State Engineer for Aqua America, and a Generation Engineer at Indiana Municipal Power Agency.
Mike holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He is a Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana.
